A friend asked me to go skiing with him today, but I told him I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather and go biking before it gets cold! The weather has been awesome, but starting tomorrow the cold weather is moving in! It's been snowing up in the mountains, so ski season has started. My last time to hit the bike trail until Spring. So, I got all geared up to go on a 18-20 mile bike ride! I had my camelbak filled with water, brought some nuts, and grabbed my phone. I had been excited all week to hit the bike trail one more time this weekend! I was on the trail, pushing myself and enjoying my bike ride. All of a sudden I started getting really tired and it was hard to pedal :( I had only gone 5 miles... what was wrong with me?!?! I looked down, and saw my back tire was flat :( I had to walk the 5 miles back home! I was not happy!!!! I was kind of feeling sorry for myself, until a biker stopped to see if he could help. He told me last week he had ripped one of his tires and had to walk back 10 miles to home. So, I guess 5 miles wasn't too bad and I still got some exercise.... just not the way I wanted to get my exercise today!!
